Self Contained
  

The tracker unit is completely self contained. Once it has been attached to the trailer it needs no further charging or maintaince.
       
  Intelligent Power Management  

The top of the units are solar cells. These provide sufficient energy to charge the trackers throughout the year, ensuring the trackers are completely independent. An intelligent power management system monitors the charging and battery at all times.
       
  Finding their Position   The trackers use a GPS satellite receiver to pinpoint their position. This is then sent back to the base station via a GSM network. The movement of each tracker is then translated to a database, where our customers access the information through the fleet manager interface.
       
  Automatically Updates   The tracker units are remotely programmed from Pinpoint's operations centre.
